K-C RACEWAY ANNOUNCES KICK-OFF TO ROAD WARRIOR CHALLENGE
SEASON OPENER APRIL 10

CHILLICOTHE, OHIO- K-C Raceway and the AMRA are ready to kick off the 2010 racing season in grand style, Saturday, April 10. Spring is just around the corner along with the 57th annual racing season on the high banks of Jeff and Vicki Schrader's K-C Raceway near Chillicothe, Ohio. K-C begins April 10 with an American Motor Racing Association (AMRA) "Road Warrior Challenge" race for Advanced Services Modifieds paying $1,200 to win and $150 to start, along with AMRA Late Models, and Hobby Stocks.
 The "Road Warrior Challenge" brings many of the best open-wheel modified drivers to one race track for a potent purse and the right to compete for  "Road Warrior Challenge" points. The best names in modified racing will be in the pits for the season opening event at K-C Raceway, Saturday, April 10. The "Road Warrior Challenge" schedule is not yet 100 percent complete, however, the preliminary schedule follows with races at K-C Raceway, Beckley Motorsports Park, I-77 Motorsports Park, Tyler County Speedway, Skyline Speedway, and Eastside Speedway in Virginia.
 Two changes for competitors at K-C in 2010 will be the sanctioning of AMRA Late Models and AMRA Modifieds and Goodyear 410 Sprints cars, all competing for the Bazell Oil and Race Fuels Point Fund at season's end. Late Models will run minus a tire rule, while AMRA modifies should be Hoosier shod.  Hoosier Tire and Hoosier Ohio Valley are both avid sponsors of the AMRA.
 "Both of these sanctions should mean more cash in the hands of the racers," said Schrader.  "I know several of our drivers will be on the podium for national points in the AMRA. It's a first-class operation and gives our drivers a chance to compete with the best as well as competing for an added pot of point money. Plus the "Road Warrior Challenge" brings the best open-wheel drivers to town for our fans. Every RWC race I've seen has literally gone right down to the wire. It's great racing!"
 AMRA Late Models and K-C Hobby Stocks will also compete on the first night. Late Models are $1,500 to win and $250 to start.
